Rob Takes on The Three Peaks Challenge with TV Chef Nigel Haworth
Celebrity Chef famous for winning The Great British Menu has enrolled our very own Dr. Rob Dorrington to climb the three highest peaks across the UK in 24 hours! This event is raising money for Hospiatlity Action and we need your support.
Nigel is one of Rob’s patients and Rob was only too happy to support him in this challenge. We are hoping our patients will buy a raffle ticket (or two) when they are next in surgery. So please feel free to post any good luck messages on our blog page!
Dental Implants Open Evening held on Wednesday 19th January 2011 was ‘informative and helpful’
We have held open evenings before for dental implants and they always prove popular and this was no exception. Many people are fed up of putting up with unsightly gaps or loose fitting dentures. This open evening gave people the opportunity to find out about the options available without any cost or pressure to go ahead with any treatment.
At, Inglewood House we put our patient’s needs first and appreciate that people may want to take their time over important decisions. We did not encourage anyone to go ahead with treatment on the evening, we simply advised them of their treatment options, with a realistic estimate and made them aware of the next stage should they wish to proceed with treatment at some point.

Treatment Co-ordination Service
Patients will now benefit from the launch of our new Treatment Co-ordination service. Emma Neary has been appointed our full time Treatment Co-ordinator, providing free advice and support for patients. Patients will be encouraged to book an appointment to see Emma in our new Treatment Co-ordination Room, where they can enjoy a variety of coffees, biscuits or a healthy apple whilst chatting about their aspirations for their dental health and their smile. Emma will help patients to complete a Smile Analysis which will make it far easier for the Dentist to pin point any specific concerns that may not be clinical but are causing much unhappiness and lack of confidence. In this informal chat Emma will be able to offer estimates on cosmetic treatment and discuss our finance options including interest free credit.
