Botox® Treatments, Botox® Injections, Dermal Fillers, Skin Peels and more
Wrinkles and facial lines result from ageing, muscle activity (and over-activity) and genetic predisposition. Excessive sun exposure, alcohol consumption, emotional and hormonal influences and smoking can also increase the likelihood of wrinkles. Whilst you may be able to reduce or control some of the factors associated with wrinkle formation you cannot influence all factors and we all develop some wrinkles as we age.

What is Botulinum Toxin, otherwise known as Botox®?
Botulinum is a substance that is produced by a bacteria; it is then highly refined, purified, diluted and used in therapeutic doses. Botulinum is administered by injecting it into a specific facial muscle where it acts as a muscle relaxant. Botox® is the leading brand manufactured by Allegan.
What are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers are non-surgical cosmetic treatments used to bring a more youthful appearance by restoring volume or fullness to the face and lips. They work by reducing or eliminating lines, wrinkles and folds in the skin and the effect is seen immediately after treatment.
What are Chemical Peels?
A chemical solution is applied to the skin in order to generate the removal of a layer of dead skin and the regeneration of new healthy youthful-looking skin.
The application of the chemical to the skin does create a tingling/stinging sensation that is uncomfortable, but not overly painful. No pain relief is necessary and the chemical is only on your skin for approximately two to five minutes.
Most patients need between four and six treatments at four weekly intervals to see best results.
NeoStrata® Skincare Range – The No. 1 Skincare Brand in the USA
Our patient’s secret to success with their enhanced natural beauty is the NeoStrata® skincare range. We only use NeoStrata® for all our peel treatments, this powerful range can only be administered by trained medical clinicians, and cannot be used by Beauty Therapists. Patients are introduced to the chemical strengths gradually so they do not endure dramatic shedding of the skin as such you can continue with your normal daily activities, or once aclimatized more powerful strengths can be applied to provide deeper penetration.
Ian understands our patient’s individual skincare needs and the huge range of at-home products available enable him to devise a unique skincare regime to follow at home to maximise the results of their treatments in surgery. This skincare range has come to England from USA where it is the number one selling skincare brand.
Botox® Successfully Treats Sufferers of Hyperhydrosis (Excessive Sweating)
The procedure involves the careful injection of muscle-relaxant into the underarm to prevent the production of sweat. The procedure has positive results for up to six months, at which point patients would need to re-attend. This treatment gives patients a new-found sense of freedom to wear whatever they like and to do whatever they want to do without the embarrassment and lack of self-confidence that excessive perspiration causes.
