What is Botulinum Toxin, otherwise known as Botox®?

Botulinum is a substance that is produced by a bacteria; it is then highly refined, purified, diluted and used in therapeutic doses. Botulinum is administered by injecting it into a specific facial muscle where it acts as a muscle relaxant. Botox® is the leading brand manufactured by Allegan.

What are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are non-surgical cosmetic treatments used to bring a more youthful appearance by restoring volume or fullness to the face and lips. They work by reducing or eliminating lines, wrinkles and folds in the skin and the effect is seen immediately after treatment.

What are Chemical Peels?

A chemical solution is applied to the skin in order to generate the removal of a layer of dead skin and the regeneration of new healthy youthful-looking skin.
The application of the chemical to the skin does create a tingling/stinging sensation that is uncomfortable, but not overly painful. No pain relief is necessary and the chemical is only on your skin for approximately two to five minutes.
Most patients need between four and six treatments at four weekly intervals to see best results.
