Rob was selected from the nation’s Dental Implantologists to speak at the ADI Forum , which took place in Kings College University London on Saturday 12th November 2011. He presented his paper, ‘Is periodontal disease a significant risk factor in implant dentistry?’ to a lively audience.
On behalf of the team at Inglewood House, ‘well done’ Rob, it was a huge stage but you owned it. If initial feedback from delegates includes comments such as ’engaging, informative and thought-provoking’.

The team is proud to inform our patients that Lisa, Dr Culshaw’s nurse, has secured place at Liverpool University to study for a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy. Unfortunately, this means she will be leaving the practice and although we are all sorry to be losing her everyone is delighted that she will be taking her next step in her dental career.
Lisa came to Inglewood House as a Trainee Dental Nurse having no dental experience at all. It is thanks to her hard work and dedication that she has become such an accomplished nurse and is now ready to train further. I feel it is only right to apportion some credit to both Steph and Emma, who have helped to train Lisa during her time with us. It is great to see what can be achieved when people work together as a team. The quality of the training we provide at the practice is partly why we won the ‘Commitment to Investing in Staff’ award from Bury College last year.

Katie has kindly allowed us to spread the good news once again about how effective this treatment is. She feels it has changed her life because she now has more confidence and isn’t restricted in the way she once was.

Congratulations to Dr Rob Dorrington and Dr Caroline Culshaw on graduating on their post-graduate dental surgeon course. They will be presented with their Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at The Royal College of Surgeons of England on Friday 1st April 2011. After the event they will be entitled to add ‘MJDF RCS Eng’ to their other qualifications listed after their professional names. Well done from the team! We will post a photo of them in their gowns as soon as we have one.
